Scott's Shipping Services - FORMERLY UNDER "POSSIBLE LIQUIDATION"

You do realize by making light of this you're all giving Scott the OK to continue this behaviour.
I categorically state I am not conveying the message that his scammy behaviour is acceptable.

Because, as per warranty mentioned above:

SSS is responsible for the warranty, which is why I have continued to offer support on the units.
Thanks. Appreciate that clarification.

If you would, please also clarify how you ended up in an ankle cast after having an op on your shoulder?

I think it would go a long way in clearing your name and bringing you goodwill on the forum. 😭

I have the first generation. Was off your first batch that landed.

I'm not willing to risk it. You've proven yourself a scammer, conman, fraud, liar, pathetic human, deceiver, and what i can only surmise but is clear as day, a pathetic and delinquent husband and son.

There is zero chance I'm sending the battery to you at my expense because I already know exactly all the bullshite that will come my way. Not paying a cent more to further this scam.

I've long since written this off and moved on.
You'll get what's coming to you. Of that, there's no doubt.

GFY.

My bad. This experience and interaction with that guy has just left a sour taste in my mouth. It all just baffles me.

Anyway. I'm out.

Thank you for making your position very clear.

Not sure if serious or trolling but seems still a point of contention. Was a brace thing not a plaster cast, still very unpleasant in 30C bushveld, nothing to do with the shoulder operation.

You were out in the bushveld with your foot in an ankle cast and your arm in a sling?

Stick to Facebook marketplace bro. You have ruined your reputation here. You have ruined it on Carbonite.

At least there you can delete any negative comments.

Buy a house after a year or two of operations?
8 out of 10 businesses fail in SA.
Depending what business one is in it takes 4 years to break even.
I got a couple of quotes, thankfully I never followed through with them.
Pay back the people you owe money to first.
Then come and crow here.
Until then you are screwed on this forum.

"Replacing a dodgy cell" you say. Are you really? I mean really really? I don't believe that for a second.
Prove it.
I'll pm you a pic over the weekend. As I said, I am absolutely going to take care of affected customers.
Waiting on the pics bud. I'm still convinced you're lying and this is just one of the lies out of the many @ScottulusMaximus

You said you're not interested in support?
I think at this point you're being obtuse and obstructive. You want to rebuild faith and your good name, my suggestion would be transparency.

You offered pics showing yourself repairing the battery. Put them up. Other people would be interested and possibly slightly reassured as well.

You said you're not interested in support?
Not at any point did I say I was not interested in support.

What I did say was, I am NOT interested in sending my dodgy battery to you for "resolution" merely because I have no faith you will make an effort to resolve the issue. In fact I firmly believe that were I to be as dumb as to fall for your lies and send my battery to you, I have little doubt I'll ever see the battery again. I believe this to be fact for a myriad of reasons based on your actions. I don't believe you are currently upholding any of the warranties in any shape or form. I don't believe you have a "spares" supply that you are utilizing to fix what is clearly not an insignificant amount of dodgy batteries you suppled and was paid in full for.

You offered the photos as a form of proof to me/us calling you on your BS.

I'll give my 2c in here now, based on how this thread is going.

You posted a "from the heart" post earlier, explaining issues, and I guess expecting people to forgive you, or understand the troubles, and have some good faith that it might be sorted. That, in my eyes, was the hard part. You've already admitted the problem, and identified how to proceed to fix it and get SSS back up and running.

So why the difficult attitude now, mate? I've met you, during COVID (not sure if you remember), you bought beer kits from me. We had a lekker chat. I got the idea you were a decent, honest, family man. Things go wrong. Things went wrong for me for a while as well. I understand.

But don't let pride or arrogance or plain simple pigheadedness cause so much damage to your image that it cannot be redeemed. As I said, the hardest part is done. Apologize to the bloke, get him his replacement battery, take back the old one and amend the issue. Even if you don't get his approval - who cares? Your business does not depend on one man.

If it turns out his battery is not faulty and he's taking you for a sucker - that's another story. He has a profile on Carbonite and I'll personally help you gather all the info you need to take it further if he is indeed scamming you (which I doubt). If there's something wrong with his battery, he's merely getting what he paid for - which is fair and right, no?

That's my 2c. Take it or leave it.
