When did you order? I was going to include one with my order, but saw google had a waiting list - ended up ordering one through Esquire.

The Sunday of Black Friday, so 26 November (in fact it may have even been the Monday). I think Scott mailed me the next Sunday to say it had arrived at their UK depot or whatever it's called. Then it took a few days to get to SA, then I guess it got stuck at customs for a couple of days.
Dumbass (me) asked for a UK one cos I didn't want a 120V power adapter. Of course, it's just a USB plug...

Edit: What did Esquire charge you? Cos it was like 40% off on that Black Friday weekend special, which is why I went for it.

Ordered two Home Mini's from Scott in the meantime.
 
I am not a new client, but let me give you my most recent experience with Scott’s Shipping Services.

Last week I needed to get some documentation from Pretoria to Cape Town urgently and it had to be collected and arrive there the same day. Scott quoted me R841 for the service. My son’s friend made a quick call to the courier company his employer regularly uses and their standard rate for exactly the same service was R2 342. I don’t need to explain anything.
 
Thank you Scott!! Received my Google Home and Google Home Mini today. The quick responses and excellent service were greatly appreciated. Will definitely use you again soon!!

Still waiting on customs release, they're working on it now though, they just never started previously, presume the file fell off someones desk. Hoping to get it to you next week, pushing for a resolution with the other slow shipments.

Just to highlight it's R841 for SAME DAY :) overnight is a tad cheaper!
