Hi Scott. I'm glad I was directed to this thread.
I need a sales pitch on why I should I go through you for a $300 item from gearbest rather then using their free delivery.
Are you able to get the product sooner, offer Insurance, etc.

Not so great on the sales pitch thing unfortunately.... I also won't bash the other option, SAPO bashes themselves enough ;)

My T's & C's though:
Delivery to your door in under 3 weeks for "Standard", "Express" option on request.
Supplier warranty applies.
All deliveries guaranteed against loss/damage.

I feel I must openly thank Scott for the service he apparently provided to someone I know.

This person wanted to buy a phone for someone else and I directed him to Scott but explained to him that the guy is on holiday in the UK.

Scott apparently answered the guy so quickly and professionally, even whilst on holiday which is very impressive.

Scott, thanks very much for sorting the guy out with the phone, really appreciate it and apologies for him bothering you while you were on holiday.

Don't know if it's been mentioned previously but Scott can also assist with local courier services, pick-up and delivery at very good rates imo.
 
I just wanted to give a big thanks to Scott. I ordered some car parts via Scott from the USA. Great feedback every step of the way and will definitely make use of Scott for any future imports!
 
I received my Mi Box today ordered using Scott's service. The process was painless and hassle-free. I'll definitely be recommending him to people I've previously pointed at Aramex for this sort of thing!

Where did you order it from and how much did it cost in the end?
 
Using Scott's Service, I ordered from Geekbuying. It was just under R1600 total at the time.

Well, I haven't had a lot of time with it, but I really like it. I have a Mediabox (http://mediabox.co.za/) as well, and this blows that out of the water in terms of ease of use. The Android TV OS works so much better then the standard Android interface. So far it's played everything I've thrown at it, although admittedly I haven't tried any of the newer, fancier codecs yet. But Netflix works great, and DSTV Now works fine apart from the dimming issue which I hope the resolve. My wife has a much easier time navigating this then the Mediabox, and the voice input also works pretty great too. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this.
