scrambling a channel like m-net.

Hi guys, I was wondering if you can help me. I'm seeking to do this for strictly educational reasons only. I'm keen to scramble the signal (video at the least), to the same scrambling procedure m-net uses, from a signal output, from one of my DVD recorders. Would anyone know how to do that? If I got tuner card, and scrambled it via streaming, it's still something. Video at the least, but audio will be a bonus.

From what I recall the video scrambling used by mnet is pretty simple, the audio was more complicated. When I was studying a guy in my class descrambled the video with a simple circuit, the audio was in a digital encrypted format I think thus could not be done.

Yup hacked an m-net decder, on ocassion, I always wondered why I couldn't descramble the sound. Reason why is for educational purposes, and also since everything is connected in my bedroom, IPTV STB, DVD recorders etc, I have the TV in the lounge connected too, and we have younger family members hers, so at times scramble the picture, but the main reasons I'd I'd like to see and understand how its all done.
