Screamer and News groups

I have screamer wifi, and cant seem to get connected to the news group servers of saix, so i heard that they filter out connections that is not from them, understandable. I then tried the IS one and it actually connects, i used GrabIT and i can get the groups on the servers as well as download the articles inside, but as soon as i get a NZB file and try and download it, grabit reports that the group alt.binaries.multimedia does not exist, am i doing something wrong, or is it also because im not a IS client ?
