Screamer can go to hell

I applied for Screamer WiMax service on the 25th March 2010. They were out of stock with devices and said the ETA was middle of April. When i applied, they had 2 options for the device rental:1. A once off rental fee of R2 999.002. A Monthly rental fee of R279.00
I don't have the money lying around to pay R3000 up front and took the device rental option for R279 per month.
In the middle of April i get a call asking to do a signal test, i say thats fine and they come out to test, and say i have excellent signal. This was meant to be the installation date but they said the devices were further delayed They are now only arriving in early May. Today is the installation date and they give me a call, to say that sorry, they have taken out the monthly rental option for the device and that they will debit it off my account at the end of the month.After a long discussion with Anina(installations) and her manager, i was told that it was a decision made by the share holders and they are in absolutely no position to make any compromises to this whatsoever. They said the form i filled out was an old version and that the policy was implemented in early Feb. This is completely unacceptable

So ... you are unhappy with Screamer ... fair enough BUT why do we have to suffer your spam?
 
Sorry to hear your dismay, i am happy with screamer for the first time in over a year (which is saying a lot).

Again Mr "Wadeholm" one post is sufficient, we do get the message.

im happy with my screamer line, downloading like crazy and from everyone ive heard nothing beats my 384 uncapped/unshaped no throttling line. i only have good things to say about screamer other than their wimax price increase :)
 
Just looking at what is happening to the cheap ADSL suppliers including MWeb I would be happy to pay a little more for my Screamer connection. If you can't afford it go somewhere else.
