This is starting to get infuriating. Tech guy came to fix the wimax because it wasn't getting any signal. At the moment the screamer modem thingy (alvarion) control panel is showing an almost full green bar as far as signal strength is concerned.
Yet I constantly get disconnected (even though the screamer connection remains "connected"), so all data stops coming through and pages time out. I have to disconnect and reconnect before pages start loading again. This would happen consistently every 10-20 seconds, although sometimes it stays on longer for a few minutes before losing connection.
What's going on? Do I need to use screamer-specific DNS server addresses? I can't find any.
