Hi there.

I’ve been having an issue with my Opel Adam regarding the Tyre Pressure indicator with the front right wheel indicating that the pressure is dropping, while the tire pressure is fine. This is also accompanied by a screeching sound of sorts when reversing and going around corners, sometimes while just driving forward as well.

The sound seems to be coming from that front right wheel.

I tried having it balanced, which solved the screeching issue for about 10 minutes. 2 days later, the pressure is also once again dropping on the Tyre Pressure indicator, while in reality the tire pressure is still fine.

Any thoughts on what the issue may be? I was assuming it may be wheel bearings or the alignment, but my steering and handling feels completely normal.

Swap the tyres around and see what happens.

I can't think of any reason why a defective TPMS sensor would cause any of that, or any causes of that that would make a TPMS return low pressures. Are you sure the two issues have any relation?

Have the wheel bearings and cv joints checked by mechanic.
