Screen dimming

Hi. While I've been browsing through the forums, my display has been dimming automatically. Auto dimming is turned off and im on full brightness, at the moment it shows its full but only looks to be at about 50%. Any other Huawei owners have the same problem?

Turn-off Power Saving Mode

Go to System > Developer Options > Increase Readability Under Sunlight> Toggle Off

Then restart your phone and open your apps (like Chrome) to see if it's still auto-dimming

The answer to the Huawei P20 Lite dimming problem is probably that you need to adjust the Display / Sleep setting. Find the Display settings by running the phone's Settings App. Then choose for instance 5 minutes of inactivity before the display will sleep. That should work.
