Anyone know a decent quality, affordable screen repair place? My s4 just dropped out of my jacket pocket onto the metal clamp from a jumper cable :(

LCD seems fine, just the glass front is cracked. Anyone know what cost to expect? I could potentially go the DIY route if it's ridiculously expensive otherwise, but then I'm guessing finding the replacement parts would be a headache of it's own.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm in Cape Town, Southern Suburbs

I wasn't aware of the warranty registration (30 day registration for 2 year cover) until now :(
It's on a Cell C contract, think they'll do anything about it, or do standard SA service provider costs apply? (arm + leg or just leg?)

Samsung accidental warranty. Colleague damaged phone half a year after getting it. They replaced screen for free

No need to register in 30 days anymore, just have some paperwork for phone and you sorted!!

just download the ADH app from the play store register and it will confirm that you covered or not

Also if covered don't take it to Cell c take it directly to the Samsung repair centre:

Cape Town
11 Park Lane
Cnr Park Lane & Century Way
Grand Central
Century City
Cape Town
Tel No: - (021) 551 5534

ADH.

All S4's sold in SA come with ADH warranty.

Just take your proof of purchase to any Samsung outlet, and they'll repair it for free.

My bro works for Samsung, he says that they know if it has been rooted even if its been locked and factory reset. So cross your fingers and hope it gets unnoticed

Why should this have any bearing if the only issue is a cracked screen..?
