I have a Samsung SyncMaster 2494HS 23.6" and now someone offerred me R2100 for it.
And now Incredible Conn. Sells the SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER B2330H for R1800 do you think I should sell mine and buy it?

yeah thats an idea, but you had to sell it 3 months ago as incredible conn had a sale, the sale entailed that you bring ANY monitor in, effed up or not, and trade it in, this trade in will shave a few bucks off on the next monitor you want to buy. this was at Bayside Mall Tableview. They're maybe still running the same special but my friend got his new monitor like that.

Sorry Misread but do you think I must do it?
Is 70 000 really better than 50 000 contrast!!

the only time you actually notice these differences in contrast are in an extremely dark room, if you really want to appreciate high contrast ratios. For example, i have a 3000:1 ratio, but because of all the light in my room, it will decrease drastically, so the question you should ask yourself is, is my room dark enough? The cinemas thought of this and that is why it is extremely dark(besides stupid guys playing around with their phones, that little light screws up the contrast ratio for you). The best place to learn about contrast ratios are at www.hardwaresecrets.com. They cover each and every topic or question that you have.

so in short:
yeah it is better, depending on the lighting of your room

Remember it's "dynamic" contrast ratio. These days a company can list any dynamic contrast ratio and it actually means nothing to the end user seeing that we have no idea how they go about getting these values.
