Hi there,

could you please help with the following.

(Please note this is not for any illegal activities as there is enough sources to source media out there)

We need to attend a online conference that will be streamed from America.
The problem is that the team is to small to afford that all attend so we need to send one person to a boardroom, so that he can record the streaming and then release it for the rest of the team to view on their own time.

Something like "FRAPS" would be awesome but I don't have a paid version and really don't want to spend $37 just for once off streaming.

Is there any free software that I can use to actually capture the conference, size is not an issue as we have plenty of that to go around so the original file size should not be an issue.

The only requirements I have is to be able to use it on Windows 10 and use the pc sound and not the mic.
that's it.

Thank You for the assistance

I've used Camtasia for a similar purpose.

VLC can also record from a stream (better than recording the screen itself)

But don't expect great results, any stream recording will not be amazing quality and any recording is prone to glitch when the connection gets dodgy.
