Where do you get the error? Can you get into windows? Does safe mode work? What did you use to clone the drive? What hardware specs do you have - scsi card?

MAybe its a thing with Windows 7 - I doubt the software is certified for it yet?

Last time I had to clone something (a few years ago) Norton ghost did a pretty good job.

Can't you just run a windows repair? Unless I'm misunderstanding something?

Didn't 'clone' the drive, and the second sentence('unrelated') was on another occasion other question, i would like to restore either one of the two
 
If you can somehow get into windows, uninstall any apps like Alcohol, Nero, Daemon Tools. Otherwise if you can't get into windows, just ignore what I said :P
