Hi

After hundreds of short power trips the past week, my SD PVR I has failed to start.

When entering the green welcome screen the loading bar is filled about halfway, and stops there. On the pvr screen itself it displays something like 3==3 and a red dot.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had similar problems. Left my PVR unplugged for the night and plugged it back in the morning and it started working.

Yeah... before you take the thing in:

unplug everything
Take the smart card out
Leave it off for a few hours.

What sometimes happens, is that the capacitors don't discharge correctly after a power failure. S when you fire them back up, they still have the residual charge and do not function correctly. Give the caps time to dissipate their charge and try again.
If she still no wek...
Take it to your dealer... er... you know what I mean.

You notice this happens with your PC sometimes? Same principle.

I left it for an hour unplugged but didn't work, maybe it needs more time. But thanks for the advice!
