SE Arc - Bluetooth

How can I set my Bluetooth to always be discoverable?
An app maybe?

Its for a carkit.

It would always have to be on then too.... Sounds pointless (and a battery drainer). Why? Maybe Tasker can switch it on when you need it on?

I have profiles that switch Wifi off when I leave the house and BlueTooth on when I start driving, which connects to my carkit. All happens automagically!. I don't even use the GPS for any of this (battery drainer too). This is on an X10.
