SE Xperia Pro

Please post your opinions of, and experiences with (when available), the SE Xperia Pro here.

I'm due for an upgrade on one of my contracts soon (July) and am considering this device as one of my options (despite my reservations about Google). I still use my old BB Bold 9000 because of the great keyboard and will only consider another device with a proper keyboard.

Reservations about Google? I'm sure you will find the Android OS completely blows away anything Blackberry, especially web browsing.

Should be a great phone. But you might find that touchscreen keyboards on high end phones are actually pretty good and make proper keyboards pointless

If you work on documents and type very long emails, then I guess the keyboard helps, mainly because there isn't a touch keyboard taking up screen space. Otherwise I think it's a bad idea to brush off high end phones like the HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S2 just because they don't have hardware keyboards. Those big screens are really easy to type on.

Maddmatt, I have an iPhone 4 (since it was launched in SA) and the on-screen keyboard just doesn't work for me. I really prefer the tactile feedback and I make a lot less errors typing on my Bold. Believe me, I've tried to get used to the iPhone's glass touch keypad. The Xperia Pro has a very nice separation of keys (nice wide keyboard).
