this just came up on the cybersmart faq thing:

The circuit is affected due to fibre cut in the SMW-4 segment-3 between Cairo-Kom Hamada.

Telecom Egypt team has been informed to repair. There is no ETR at this moment.

LOL indeed I tried the afrihost and not even the local sites would load...

We need an updated information source. But at least we have myBB to get updates...

Heheheheh... with me it is always a check with MyBB 1st, then the "official" channels regarding anything ISP-ish !

oh so that's why it's not working whoops just sent a mildly angry email to cybersmart lol xD thing is with me it's not just dead it comes up with this stupid cybersmart capextender thing (which i don't have) telling me that i'm capped (i'm not) and i can browse international but i'll pay for it per mb i'm not risking clicking on it

what I really hate is when I'm doing something like updating firmware and suddenly Bam! weird errors all round - first port of call (like today) - MyBB - saved me hours of hair pulling (especially since my Netgear is starting to go flaky)
