Seagate External HDD

Hey guys,

I am really keen to go buy a Seagate external HDD (FreeAgent) this week. Does any one know the best place to buy one in Johannesburg? I have tried to google it but all it comes up with are online stores - i dont want to buy online because i want to look at them in person and choose the right one.

BTW: I want to get a FreeAgent Desk (500gig or 1tb) and a FreeAgent Go (500gig for my girl) in the bright orange. From reading previous posts, it seems like Seagates are really good.'

So whats the best place to buy (best places and large amount of stock to choose from)?

^^ Thanks mate, was also thinking them but was looking through their website and they dont seem to have any - but i will phone them up to see.
 
Not sure why you're so amped to go see them physically.

i just recently got mine Matrix Warehouse, although i'm not sure they have it in orange, but u can try there.
price:

1tb - approx. R1800
500gb - R1200

the free agent go's are much more expensive than the normal ones

Na they dont have any Seagate FreeAgents - just enclosures.


Are there no good computer stores in Johannesburg any more?

Makro (not too sure)

Don't look at what's available on the websites because they don't always show what they stock. Phoning saves you time. I bought a Verbatim 3.5" 500gb from Kalahari.net for R989, cheaper than Makro and Incredible Connection. Kalahari delivered to my door as they don't allow postal deliveries with electronics and delivered within 24 hours with free shipping.
 
You can always look at the product then buy cheaper online.
