Seagate Return

Hi Guys,

I hope everyone is well.

Could you please help me i want to know if any one has ever returned an external seagate hdd? there is something wrong with mine where it does not want to copy to or from. I have checked its still under warrenty untill next year. But do we really have to send the drive over seas? are there local people that can assist?

i bought it at makro and i dont have the box or the slip

ask makro to pull the contents of the makro card - it will be on there!
dont ever throw slips away - scan and file! learn from this

Take it to Rectron and pay the handling fee.

A few years back I had rectron replace a drive 5 times, during the process of illumination they swapped out the motherboard and power supply in an attempt to isolate the issue.

Since then I've stuck with WD (personal preference)
