I have a 3TB Seagate drive I received second hand which has stopped working, I checked online and it is still within warranty.

Can anyone please assist me with the RMA process?

Just take it to Rectron and pay the small handling fee (assuming it did not come from them) and they'll sort it out.

Rectron will charge them even if the drive came from Rectron, unless the person returning it is part of the registeted company that bought the drive from Rectron.

I heard they ask a R100 surcharge to RMA it for you even if you didn't buy it from them.

Think I'll courier it to them or take it in.

Sorry for the derail, bought a second hand Western Digital Blue, manufactured in 2016, which seems dead, would Rectron be able to assist if a RMA is possible?

Try Drive Control Corporation (DCC) first, not sure if Rectron does WD.

Other local WD distributors are Pinnacle, Corex & Sahara.
