Search Engine Optimization for WordPress Blog

Hi there

I was just wondering what I can do to my WordPress.com blog to get Google to be able to search its contents. I have created and submitted the sitemap, which google's webmaster tools says was successful.
Certain posts on my blog do come up with results from Google, but some not.
HOw do I move the results up?

Does google search the Post contents, tags, categories, or page names?

Go to you admin console and search the plugins for SEO plugins. There are quite a few good ones.

oh that screen Yes i know this screen - where i change the theme, and other settings... I dont see any plug ins here though? and nothing regarding SEO?

thank you . It seems, I have not "installed" wordpress - i am only using the online version, that is why I cannot add plugins
