Search for media files

We recently discovered a user on one of our managed servers had uploaded 200Gb of media files to his user directory.

Apart from using space and clogging the network this plays havoc with our backup system.

Is there a, preferably open source, application that can scan a server for music and video format files ?

If you are using Windows Server 2003 / 2008/ 2012 you might already have a solution.
