Searching and finding duplicate files

I have managed to get a 250GB portable hard drive for R500 brand new
Its half full, but I estimate I may have on average 80GBs free, This is without NTFS compression.

I would like to know what program preferbly open source freeware That is able to search and find duplicate files. Since I have backed up things more than once on DVDs and CDS, and copying them over, I have managed to find some well most of the duplicate mp3s, and videos, but when it comes to images and documents and saved web pages it gets tedious, and I presume on average about 5 duplicates of some files.

A sort of file/search manager that can find and display the duplicates where I can selectively delete the duplicates, It would have to find duplicate file names with equal file sizes.

Agent Ransack. Just do a search and sort the results by name or file size and you'll see the files next to each other.

search for Doublekiller.exe

I got it from the SACM CD one month.
It does a CRC on the phyiscal file, so you could have duplicates with different names, this will pick them up as well, and across your whole hdd, not just 1 folder.

What about a program which shows thumbnails (if possible) of duplicate files?

Easy duplicate finder. You can search both on name and CRC. Sometimes you have different file names for the same file and a CRC search will pick this up.
