Hi, just wanted to share. A friend saw an advert in the CAR book of this place in Roodepoort, www.lovemycar.co.za. They make seat covers specific for your car, and also mats, boot mats, and numurious products, all custom made. I went there to see what it looks like, and I must say it is very very good quality. I ordered a full set of seat covers for my jetta 5, as I nevr could find a set that fit.

Cost me R2000. I even asked for xtra top stitching on the covers, and embroidery too, and they do that at no xtra cost.

Always lekka to share something good!

Almost forgot, they also offered to courier the covers to Pietersburg at no xtra cost.

Funny, I was just googling for seat covers now, also found a place in pta that does full leather for R6800. decisions decions.

I must tell you, cause I know what leather cost, that price for "full leather" is pretty low. Just dont get scammed. I must tell you, I am full of sh*t when it comes to quality, and I tell you that place I mentioned does a very good job, and the material is tough.

So just an update. This place turned out to be a complete mess. Covers were weeks late, and not near the quality they showed us when we ordered. So please stay away!

Completely pathetic! Really avoid them like the plague. I placed an order on the 18th of last month and got no feedback from them. Called today and they had no idea about my order, had to hold 15 minutes for them to check their internet banking and order system and who knows what else.

They are absolutely clueless, have no interested in their customers or orders.

Damn man... I've known about that place a few years now and was keen on getting some embroidered car mats from them at some point...

Well, if you want to get robbed then go for it, but right now I think the only thing I got for my R750 is a very expensive lesson - should have paid with a credit card so that I could dispute the charge.

Yeah guess I will avoid and stick with "normal" car mats. They are the only place I've heard of doing that sort of thing but I suppose if I take original mats any "carpety" type place could do something.

Well I guess I must accept that it was a R2000 lesson for me. I called them again befor december. then they told me I must come to them, so they can re measure my car, because as they say they cant get a jetta 5 highline in Johannesburg to measure. I mean what a joke! So I think it was the 10th December they closed for the holidays, and re-opened, still nothing from them. I wish I knew an attorney, so he can just give them a call to shake them a bit.

do you think a complaint on helopeter will help? Dont think it will do the trick.
