Background:
I was 10 years old and my standard 2 teacher did a check for lice in the kids. She noticed I had a scalp condition (dandruff). She informed my folks who took me to the doc and he diagnosed it as being either Seborrheic Dermatitis or Psoriasis, but he claims to be very certain its the former as I don't have the plaque that Psoriasis develops. My folks tried all sorts of anti-dandruff shampoos and none of them worked until Niz Shampoo came along. I've been using that stuff for the past 13 years, but for the past year or so it doesn't seem to be working any more.
Apparently S. Dermatitis is not curable, only treatable; the problem is as I've mentioned the Niz Shampoo is no longer controlling it. My scalp is constantly shedding flakes, whereas Niz used to reduce the frequency and magnitude of the flakes sometimes giving me months of respite. I wash my hair 3 - 4 times a week (every 2 days).

I've just about reached my wits end and its really knocking my self esteem down. I'm too ashamed to try and chat up ladies for fear of them being grossed out.
Any body have anything that can bring it back under control? I've tried alternate therapy like UV treatment which means shaving my hair extremely short and sitting out in the sun for at least 30 minutes a day. Unfortunately that is no longer feasible as I'm an office jockey at the moment.
