Howdy do folks..

Looking for a decent and secluded weekend getaway spot in the WC for the SO and I toward end of September..

We would like to be away from people.. so small cottage/cabin like spots spread far apart is very much preferred..

Thanks for your suggestions..

Likely the most sorted place I’ve ever stayed at with everything you could possibly want or need.

My mistake was going only for a weekend.

Even the WiFi was amazing considering the remote location.

Worth a stop along the way - https://hickville.co.za/

And another fantastic one.

Again not super remote like the first one but the three different cottages are very private from each other and also very well sorted out.

They have their own herb and vegetable garden on the farm as well which you can use as you please.

This is pretty isolated:

As are these:

I have stayed at Honeywood Farm cottages and Veepos cottage. These are all isolated places far from neighbours.

Looks incredible. I had a quick look but didn't see, do you know if it's dog friendly?

Oh man Petersfield is one of my favourite places (my father's ashes are actually scattered there) and I've been to all three of them.

But finding bookings at such short notice is near impossible to didn't even think to mention it.

I don't see why it wouldn't be, there's the usual snake warnings and stuff as with all these places but just checked their Lekkeslaap listing and they say pets not allowed it seems.
