second adsl line

hi guys we've moved in a another house and now am tryna decide if i should use get my own line,cause my rents are stuck on a 384k line with a 2year contract with telkom it should be ending early 2012 but i cant handle it when my brother or other fam members go on fb while am gaming:twisted:lol so what will it cost too put another voice line in gonna go for 1 mb mweb uncapped thanks guys

If you go with closer 2 plan or so to start, the analog line install is free at least. Then you can add whatever speed you want on top of that. There is aparenlty closer 4-5 which have ADSL included, but just check if that still applies I am not sure.

I tried to upgrade my 384 to 1MB (still had 6 months left on my 2yr contract) and ended up paying a penalty fee even though I was told I would not. It is a pro-ratio for your modem (I paid R450).

But going to 1MB was so worth it. Could never go back to 384.

I would guess that upgrading the Telkom line + contract to a 1 or 4-10Mbps connection wouldn't result in a penalty fee at all.
