Second Hand Cars from Durban

I'm busy car hunting at the moment and one thing that I've found is that 2nd hand cars from Durban are so much cheaper than anywhere else. Is it just coincidence or does anyone else notice the same thing? Why is this so if even true? I'm mainly referring to private sales.

Yup. The sea air can make rust accumulation accelerate, but this isn't the case with all cars I think.

Yea be really wakey for rust and especially hidden rust. I've bought 3 parts cars from there for real cheap, but the rust in them was scary...and they were all late 90's Merc and Isuzu. So not old junk.
You get what you pay for applies mostly.....
