Hi Guys,

I got a new Asus N53S laptop early December last year for one of the bosses, which runs a GT 540M.

Currently he is running a 23" Dell P2312H as his extended monitor.

Was working great until he got back from holidays, and now his Dell is pinkish in color?

I have replaced the VGA cable, and even tried a different screen, removed the nvidia drivers, reinstall to latest driver, but alas, no solution.

Has anyone had this issue before? Or perhaps a possible solution?

Try the screen with a DVI cable without converting it from HDMI or VGA.

Secondly, reset the screen to factory defaults. It could just be the colour temperature that is incorrect.

Thanks, laptop has only VGA and HDMI output, and the monitor has only VGA and DVI.

Thinking of trying it from hdmi to DVI tomorrow.

Cable might be loose or damaged. This is normally the case when my external monitor starts looking funny.
