Sectional Title - 1 Trustee Left

So I'm still in talks with my body corporates. We have 2 as I'm in a complex within an estate. They haven't denied me yet they discussing.

How do I go about contacting csos if needed ?

Thanks for the advice really appreciate it.

Will put up their response if I get denied. Though their logic is to be asthetically pleasing nothing more. There's no obstruction for movement as the house is free standing within the complex.

Body corporates are all the owners of the units within the complex, I highly doubt you've got 2 sets of owners forming different body corporates. Do you perhaps mean managing agents?

How do people live in sectional titles and actually not know anything about the stuff they've bought into? I mean do they just buy in one and go well it's like living in a normal house?

Some HOAs contain ST Estates within them.

But a HOA doesn't normally have a Body Corporate.
No they don't, HOAs have members or shareholders, under the Companies Act and the MOI of the estate, but the MOI may make provision for a sectional title development within its boundary. In that case, the scope of the BC would only be those who own ST property within the ST development, and governed by the ST Act and STSMA.

Wow that must be a headache of note to track :-) but yes in that circumstances sure.

What he said so its easier to just say 2 body corporates lol

Ok so I got a response from the big body corporate (The HOA). They approved my installation for the screen doors on the outside and gave a colour coding requirement and said its subject to my BC's approval.

Now my BC is saying they dont want to approve it because its makes the doors on the estate different and effects the asthetics in the estate, however they will consider the application. They asked if I can put the screen door inside and I said no as that would require quite a bit of construction and eat up my door way.

Then they referenced how they rejected someone's fence idea and I have no idea why and what that got to do with a screen door ?

thoughts?

It is unfortunately hit & miss how pedantic the BC and their rules are from building to building.

Ya I know. Its a bit silly though that practicality is not taken into account. I mean I cant exactly police my front door from monkeys all day, I need to air my house out incase I brought covid home from work. I cant do anything about the monkeys or covid.

Best part my door is hidden from sight .....

you think if they deny it I have any recourse with csos ? or would I be wasting my time ?

they so dumb everyone complains about the monkeys here including the BC trustees and everyone complains about not being able to enjoy keeping the doors and windows open (one of the perks of a complex) and I went to the trouble to get authourisation to solve the issue in a humane and aesthetically pleasing way....

EDIT:

maybe I should behave like a naughty teenager and leave food for the monkeys by the trustees' houses so they worry their lives until they give in :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

1.) Buy a pellet gun to "shoot monkeys"
2.) "Accidentally" shoot the chairperson of the trustees.
3. Shoot them again, on purpose this time.

Csos wont help. Get owners involved and change the rules!

But they saying its not aesthetically allowed to install these things outside my doors. Since my doors open inwards I dont really have much of a choice.
Can you not flip the door to open outside and get the mesh door inside. You will need some kind of latch to keep outside door in place but I think it is doable. Probably 2 hour's job for good carpenter? Not 100% sure about what you want or what trellidor provides though.

I can but it'll look weird and won't be neat as my entrance wall is larger than the door on the inside where as outside the door Frame has space for a gate and it'll be flush.

Sometimes it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission
