Nice find, good for the basics, but it's a little out of date.

Did the BC pay for it? Then he should replace it because it's his fiduciary duty.

If you are referring to Prof. Graham Paddock's Sectional Title Survival Manual, the 8th edition is obtainable online as an e-book for the meagre sum of R595.

Motivate the trustees to buy an updated version for the BC, for all trustees to use. Their book on Sectional Title Meetings is also excellent, I'd strongly suggest buying both. It will reduce your dependency on the managing agent, who often isn't the greatest source of good legal information anyway.

atleast they are for me, especially since their offices are directly opposite from me
