Secure wireless chargers

Well written article making us thankful for the new generation of safe and chipped power chargers at a gazzillion rand......
 
Somebody wants more money... (did Not reply to original article cause mybb articles are useless on tapatalk).
 
Not a fan of moving to a physical standard for charging be it wired like micro USB/USB-C or wireless, and then locking it all down again via an authentication system.
 
So to wireless charge your phone you will get locked to the phone manufacturers expensive proprietary wireless charger instead of being able to use a cheaper generic one.
 
Yet again Apple trying to keep profits in house with their innovation which is years ahead of everyone.
Chargers locked to phones to cut down on fakes wow.
First manufacturer to have FaceTime enabled, brilliant innovation there. Old school video calls never happened as iPhone couldn't do it .

This really. Apple launches a proprietary connector and then complain about counterfeits :wtf: lol.
 
Apple Becomes a Green Energy Supplier

Like other big companies before it, including Walmart and Google, Apple recently received a federal designation for its energy subsidiary that allows it to become a wholesale seller of electricity from coast to coast. In effect, Apple is creating its own green utility company, although the main customer is itself.

Fact of the matter is that most generic chargers are infinitely better than the original Crapple Chinese made by Foxlink overpriced by Crapple ones!
