I'm busy setting up a couple of cameras at home. Can anyone recommend what software to use? It should be able to handle more than one camera and save video and photo's to disk.

Zoneminder looks cool, pity it's only Linux based.
So far WebcamXP and Milestone Xprotect Go looks very cool. Xprotect looks like a better product, but WebcamXP has a very easy remote viewing setup (through any browser). With Xprotect you need the client running on another pc and I'm guessing it's not going to work over the internet.
If you want to get stuff working over the internet just install Logmein Hamachi (The free unmanaged version).
