Hi Guys

I urgently need assistance regarding security cameras. One of my clients recently got Chubb to install 4 cameras, connected to a box and is displaying live feed. Not a problem

However for legal purposes and all else they need these images to be recorded. Is it possible to re-tread a normal computer with a tv tuner card perhaps to do this? I will get ideas from security companies but I dont trust them at all to be honest. They will most likely tell me its not possible and I need to buy their equipment.

Any ideas?

Yes it is very possible. VLC will stream the video feed over your network, and VirtualDub will record the feed. Both free programs. I am sure there are other solutions out there as well.
