An updated version of QUIC has been deployed and we are currently seeking testers to try out the Cape Town based QUIC CDN node.
Free accounts are available for up to 20GB of traffic per month. According to the QUIC developers the CDN will be production ready by Q2 2020. We would be very interested to see some benchmarks posted in this thread as well as overall user experience.

Signup for FREE at: https://www.quic.cloud/

Setting up QUIC in Wordpress & WHM/cPanel:

1. Register at https://www.quic.cloud/

2. Add your test domain via https://my.quic.cloud/ dash and ensure you include www (example: www.mytestdomain.co.za)

3. If you have access to WHM navigate to "Edit DNS Zone" and change your domain`s www record value to the value generated in your QUIC dash, for example c934583.tier1.quic.cloud, this can also be done via cPanel, alternatively ask your hosting provider to modify it for you. Example - www - 3600 - IN - CNAME - c934583.tier1.quic.cloud.

4. Login to your test site`s wp-admin and navigate to General Settings then change the URLs to include www for example - https://www.mytestdomain.co.za ( You may skip this part if your domain already loads with www by default)

5. In wp-admin make sure the Litespeed Cache plugin is installed then navigate to LiteSpeed Cache/Settings then click on "CDN" at the top (if you do not see the "CDN" tab, click on Show Advanced Options top right), scroll down to "QUIC Cloud API" and fill in your email and API that can be found at https://my.quic.cloud/ and ensure you select "ON" then scroll down and click on Save Changes.

The DNS change may require some time to propagate. Once done you can ping the domain to test if it is pointing to the Cape Town node (197.189.253.162)

You may either select "Generate a SSL certificate" for the cached content via https://my.quic.cloud/. Alternatively you may upload the same SSL certificate linked to the origin/cPanel -> (Recommended)

Lastly you can navigate to https://dnschecker.org/, leave it set to A and search for you test domain. You will see multiple regional IPs for your domain. The full list of QUIC node IPs can be viewed at - https://www.quic.cloud/ips

You can also verify the CDN/QUIC is active via https://my.quic.cloud/ - Next to Domain status you will find -> Active Static Cache Frontend SSL Backend SSL - Depending on your configuration.

Running through CT node. Nice.

Good News everyone, LSCache 3.0 is now undergoing beta testing and will be released soon :) quic.cloud is also close to being production ready and I will keep everyone posted here. We are also working with Litespeed to deploy a local optimization server in the near future, which means that all local hosts using LiteSpeed will benefit from reduced latency as Image Optimization, Critical CSS Generation and Low Quality Image Placeholders will all be processed locally instead of international servers which will greatly increase processing speeds.
