I use a modem and a MiFi. I want to use the modem for large downloads and the Mifi for browsing and small downloads.

I connected the modem and can use it fine (I use it under proxy/VPN), so my settings for my browser (modem dialing profile) is my localhost on reverse port 80, which is a virtual driver being my gateway. The MiFi is also connected, whenever I remove proxy settings for my browser (modem dialing profile), it uses the modem, instead of the MiFi as the gateway.

Now I want to know if there’s any way to segregate the connections.

Thanks in advance.

Hi There,
are you intending to do simultaneous large downloads and browsing?

re-reading (a few times) your description I am a little lost. As I understand it you are only able to use the modem and not the mifi?

Thanks

Tim

I want to use the MiFi to browse and the modem to do downloads. As said both connected, when I remove proxy settings, it uses the modem anyways.
