I asked the question and confused the hell out of Telkom. Self un-install ??? they differ at 0800 375 375 from person to person
One say:
The cost for reconverting the line back to normal ASL free line is R275.00 + R680.00/month or portion thereoff for period active while waiting for removal off service
Cancelation is free (removal of line) but takes 30 Days, but have still to pay for period actice R680.00/month or portion thereoff + line rental for period active while waiting for removal off service
Another say:
It should be free, hold on let me make a call. ....... Ok you must fax but regarding costs??? they do not have to do anything but disconect the DSlam port to return to a normal line , so it should be free but to clarify call
