Telkom's self service websites have some really useful functions. Like transferring data between SIMs.
But there are also plenty of bugs:
1. I tried to change the email address associated with the login. They emailed an OTP to my new address, which I entered in the box. But then there was an unknown error. It turns out that they just created a new login profile that's empty.
2. In my old profile, if I click 'unlink number' nothing happens.
3. If I log into the new account on selfservice.telkom.co.za, it just logs me out again.
4. I can log into my new account on https://apps.telkom.co.za/access-manager/protected/view/mytelkom , but the deregister option fails with an unknown error.
5. If I try to link one of my numbers to the new account, I get an unknown error.
6. On https://apps.telkom.co.za/access-manager/protected/view/mytelkom , it looks like cancelling a contract is possible. But it's only possible on selfservice.
If I call the call center, will they be able to help me with some of these actions ?
