Hi guys
I hope someone can help me, I have a network printer connected via ethernet to a Planet WAP-4000 bridge. The bridge was knocked off the desk and the aerial broke and I now have to replace it with a Senao Long range multi client bridge which I had laying around.
I'm not familiar with bridges and was hoping to get the settings from the old bridge and set up the new one but I can't get into it because I don't have it's IP address.
My questions are - and please excuse me if they seem silly:
Do they use DHCP?
Is there a way to find out the IP address?
Do I have to add the MAC address somewhere?
If yes, at the router or on the Small Business Server?
Can someone explain in layman's terms how the bridges work and what they need to work?
Thanks in advance!

From what I can see in the leaflet, the default settings -

IP address: 192.168.1.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
SSID: wireless
Channel: 6
WEP: disabled
DHCP: disabled

Hope it help.
