Send & receive email on a cell phone - CellC

Hi,

Although I find computers intuitive, cell phone email, MMS and wap etc. settings always confuse me for some reason. The "mobile services" logic never seems to connect with my "PC logic"

I'm trying to help a mate send & receive email from her cellphone:

Device: Mobitel 9590
Service: CellC

Can she send emails directly from a "composer" on her phone ?
Or must she use some web email service through a web browser on the phone ?

We tried gmail.com., but the scripts ding the interface.
Also, having to browse (at data charge rate) seems like it is not optimal.

Does CellC provide her with an email address she must configure somewhere ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks mate ... have you noticed that people with fewer posts to their are are more helpful and friendly. The people with 1000's of posts are cynical thread killers ... taking out their miserable pathetic "I spend my life online with my hand on my d**k" lives on the actual human beings. Pale faced losers.

Okay, this phone of hers has no email settings that I can find.

I could do this fine on my Nokia, which has semi-logial menus, but the Mobitel menu system is all flash and bling with little sense.

I'll send her along to a CellC centre ... and let them help her from there.
