Hi,

Both my decoders (Xplora and DSD1131) are situated in my tv room.

I want to transmit signals from both my DSTV Xplora decoder and small DSD1131 decoder signals to my bedroom using a single RF cable.

Currently the “RF In” of the DSD1131 goes into the “RF in” of my Xplora via a RF cable, for the heartbeat I suppose. My RF out on the DSD1131 decoder supplies onto the RF cable to my bedroom.

What is the simplest way to also get my Xplora decoder’s RF signal in my bedroom on the same cable.

Please assist :)

Get a 2 input to one output RF connector. In the decoder settings change the UHF frequency to different outputs. Join the cable to your room to the output of the connector. You should then be able to tune both DStv decoders on different channels in your room

Thanks.

Where can one buy good quality 2 input to 1 output connectors?

All the 3-way connectors I’ve seen so far are 1 input to 2 output connectors.

You can try a simple t piece.
Or you can do the job professionally with a Triax SLX 2 in 4 out active splitter to provide some amplification and improve the signal to the BR.

Get them from SPACE TV as one source or HD cabling.co.za.

There used to be a 2 in 2 out version also. Terminate the unused ports with a proper 75 ohm termination also available from the above sources.
