Sending money internationally

What would be the quickest way to send money to the US ?

The recipient has a bank account with Bank of America, but basically only an account number no other details.

You can PayPal it and they can withdraw funds to their bank account. PayPal is instant but withdrawing takes 2-3 business days.

You can also transfer directly from your bank account. Don't know if things have changed but from what I know you need their routing number and SWIFT code. This would probably take 5 days.

You can go to Money Gram or Western Union at your nearest mall. Your bank will have Money Gram inside but Western Union is a separate shop. When I was sent money via Money Gram I received it minutes later. There is a lot of paperwork for Money Gram though. State the money is a gift, no matter what the real reason is. NB: I've always been on the receiving end so not sure how easy sending is.

Yeah it looks like the direct bank transfer option was taken without consulting me, looks like moneygram would've been the winner.
