• 6+ years Business Analysis experience
• Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes
• 3+ years Project Management experience
• 6+ years SDLC experience
• Drivers Licence (and own transport)
• Exposure to Sharepoint & Scrum (beneficial)
What will I do every day?
You will be responsible for more than gathering and understanding the business needs of customers. You will need to work with their architects to drive and offer best practice advice for solutions within their product space. You ensure that functional designs and requirements are then accurately communicated to the agile development team. You are the final authority for decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the development team. You will also fulfil a project management role on some projects and will be expected to build strong working relationships with the customers as well as internally.
• Represent, interface with and engage the customers
• Make business decisions and clearly communicate requirements
• Project Management of certain projects
• Work with Global Account Manager to build and maintain good customer relationships
• Communicate status outside the team
• Overseas travel to customers 2 to 3 times a year
• Create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the Product Backlog based on business value or ROI
• Prepare functional requirements specifications when required
• Participate in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (scrums), reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other project related meetings
• Ensure issues are escalated timeously and appropriately
• Review deliverable and demonstrable code and has the authority to accept or reject
• Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Always accessible and participate proactively and constantly in the team activities
• Steer the project to ensure delivery of business value
• Be visible, vocal, and objective
