Provide 3rd level user support and assist 1st and 2nd level
Pre-emptive maintenance and the scheduling, designing and monitoring thereof
Server and application administration of:
SQL Server 2005 & 2008
MS Exchange 2010
Active Directory, DHCP and replication services
Double take sync configuration and monitoring
Backup facility coordination and monitoring
Firewall prioritisation
TMS system management
Mimecast administration
VMWare experience with certification beneficial
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of projects to address the improvement, regular maintenance, and adherence of standards are adopted on the server and virtual cloud solutions.
Implementation of best practice for world-class delivery services.
Governance of helpdesk functionality, reporting and escalation.
Management and delegation of duties to ensure optimal use of resources and team.
Review of service providers
Review of annual perpetual software license renewals, capexes prepared accordingly and justifications renewed annually.
