What would be a market related salary for a senior
network/server support person
Duties include:
Maintaining a 6 server (domain controllers, SQL
server, Pastel server, Mail server, POS server) and
120 workstation (windows based) network
20 branch WAN to headoffice (VPN)
Supply, maintain and repair all types of hardware
including POS equipment (slip printers, cash
drawers, barcode readers), fingerprint scanners, 100
printers, 100 PC's, laptops, modems, routers,
switches, wifi etc.
All software installations, backup and disaster
recovery
Setup and maintain 50 extension VOIP system (inter
branch)
Setup and maintain CCTV system
Network design and cabling
Website maintainance
Setup all new stores from scratch
Research new technologies
Management of junior support person
Hands on position. 6 day/week
Rapidly expanding company, what should annual
increase be?
Candidate has a BCOM and MCSE with 10 years
experience
Is there some sort of formula we could use to
calculate this?
