What hours will I work?
• Office hours
• Required to work some weekends and after hours as part of managed projects
• Act as first line support after hours for the support team
• Required to do standby at least one week every 2 months

What will I need to know to get this job?
• 3-5 years’ experience in the IT networking environment
• Qualification needed: A+, N+, MCSE/MCITP (2003-2008) certified
• Must have management experience or Team leader experience
• Own Car and a valid Driver’s Licence

What will I do every day?
To act within and on behalf of your support team. You should constantly be seeking to ensure that your Team is delivering the highest possible value back to your customer and back to the company.

• Advanced proactive and reactive work within the client portfolio of his/her team, working with incidents, problem management & change management.
• Assistance with projects or act as project lead at their clients, of which he/she will be incentivised.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in resolution of workstation hardware and software issues as well as peripherals.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in resolution of server hardware and software, installations, migrations and roll-outs (Hyper V and VMware, Exchange 2007 upwards).
• Ability to setup connectivity solutions such as ADSL for example.
• Thorough understanding of LANs and WANs and associated hardware as well as Firewall experience.
• Must have a good understanding of Active Directory setup and administration.
• Must be able to setup enterprise Antivirus solutions and troubleshoot problems.
• Required to interact with clients in terms of supplying recommendations to improve their network.
• Management of roaming support team, act as escalation point and first line support for team members.
• Reports directly to Support Manager.
