Job Function:
Software architecture and development at a complex level in accordance with specifications and agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with business and the customer about requirements.
• Assist in identifying the future requirements and growing the contract technically.
• Identify system data, hardware and software components required to meet user needs.
• Design, implement and maintain series of current and new systems.
• Recommend changes on project design concepts & process to improve efficiency.
• Develop design specifications, installation instructions and other system-related information. Implement and verify that the development teams fulfill requirements and streamline technical problems.
• Implement and Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of system architecture.
• Implement and verify compatibility of system components.
• Implement and verify compliance with established architecture, design patterns, policies, standards and best practices.
• Implement and verify solutions focusing on reuse and industry standards.
• Evaluate current or emerging technologies.
NOTE:
• Not required to implement Provide technical guidance and support development of systems.
• Convey architectural solutions to all levels of professionals and leaders.
• Guide system architecture, design, cross business area projects and development teams. Communicate with customers on RAIDs and other related issues
• Act as team representative on technical issues to the customer.
Critical Experiences and skills:
Education Required: Comp Sci/Engineering degree
Experience Required: 8+ years of Enterprise development/architecture experience
Job Requirements:
Essential Competencies:
Expertise with application server technologies Expertise with various Frameworks OO Analysis, Design and Programming Techniques .Net, C# Java technologies. DBMS experience
Industries: Telecommunications, Vehicle tracking, M2M
Advantageous Competencies: PCI / Banking/ Online payment or security experience
Additional Requirements: Analytical & problem solving skills Ability to take responsibility for complex long running tasks Deadline driven, able to work in highly pressurized environment Team leading Good communication skills
