Hi Guys
I have just bought a Mac notebook with which I would like to connect to the internet using my Sentech modem. Does anybody know whether the Mac OS is supported and how to go about installing the software?

Thanks very much
Etienne
PS: still 6 months to go on Sentech contract...what then??

Sure, it works ..but ONLY by the (proprietary on the modem end) Ethernet cable. You'd then use the built-in PPPoE function to connect. Re the landscape in 6 months' time- who knows, that's a LONG time away ...'cept for Stinktech who will STILL have this product out in the garden with the other landmines your dog leaves you.

Thanks bdt
OK, thanks for the info. Any idea where I can get the Ethernet cable? No luck on the Sentech site...
Thanks

Broadband Zone in Menly should have it. I bought mine at the Broadband Zone shop in Riverwalk? Sandton. Cost was around R300, I think, 2 years ago.

Broadband zone in Menlyn is closed down. So you will have to get one from the Broadband zone in Village walk (Call ahead to check on stock on 0117845408 - Moses is the man to chat with). You MAY be able to get one from the NoWire offices in Fehrsen Street in Pretoria too. Call them on 012 346 8823. We don't have any in stock currently I am afraid! They cost just over R200 if I remember rightly.
