Has anyone perhaps gone into detail into the Sentech contract, because I get the impression that it is incredibly one-sided?
My understanding is that they can give you notice at any point, and then increase their tariffs – you don’t have a choice but to pay the new tariff.
If they give you service for one day in every two months, otherwise nothing, you still stay liable to pay your full account. If you refuse, the whole amount of your contract becomes payable. If you don’t pay this they can report you to a credit bureau. If you then want to reconnect they charge you a reconnection fee – and they can decide what this would be.
It's probably unlikely that you will get this bad service, but it feels like you are almost signing your life away when you sign this thing?
