After browsing through a few postings here about bad service and poor reception I am really not surprised ! I have also had a bad experience with this crowd. After making sure that my area has good coverage I went ahead and purchased my contract. After setting up the modem I soon discoverd that I got ZERO,ZIP,NOUGHT reception. I have asked for a full refund and will be going ADSL route through telkom even though it is more expensive.

If you are willing to be a guinea pig then ...well you know the rest.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience duel.

What is your signal strength and what base station are you connected too ?
It could also be possible that they have forgotten to authenticate your modem.

Perhaps I can butt in here Proasm if I may. [:)]
It's probably been discussed already, but Im not sure. Wouldnt it be a good idea if Sentech first tested the system at your house before a customer signs the deal, just to make sure everything is hundreds.

I personally jumped head first into ADSL on a dream, but I wont do this again with Wireless or any other technology. I would want proof first that the product is going to suit my needs. I realise you are rolling out the technology and are still basically "beta", but Im sure people like myself would like to try Wireless, but it must be from an informed decision.

Nickste, you'll make bucks I'm sure. [:)]
BTTB, yes I'm all for this but others decided to rely on the zonelocator (oh the zonelocator) [V]
Once NoWire is up and running I'm sure they will have a look at this.

When TV first started in 1975, I made a killing just doing testing for TV, especially on outlying areas [;)]
